Road Rides
Treads CC Club local road rides around Northamptonshire are organised every Saturday on a weekly basis, usually with a designated cafe stop.
The ride distances are normally between 30-60 miles depending on the short or long route. We usually try to run Group A or B (on the long route) and Group B & C (on the short route).
Average speed for Group A is about 15-17mph (24-28kph), Group B about 13-15mph (21-24kph) and Group C about 13mph (21kph). If we have a small number of riders, the rides will typically join up into one or smaller groups, depending on ability and distance. We will always ride to the slowest rider, without leaving anyone behind.
We meet at various locations, so check the ride's Start/End for more details. Be sure to check the start times of rides, as during Spring/Summer (BST) it's usually earlier than during Autumn/Winter (GMT).
